Biography

Dr. Deepthi Rao works as a general practice and clinical pathology. She is especially interested in pancreas problems, liver disease, and neuroendocrine tumors. Dr. Rao obtained her medical school training at Government Medical College, Srinagar and performed her residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She has received the following distinctions: Dr. Ivan Damjanov Outstanding Resident Researcher Award; Bill Pfeiffer and Mary Mcfee Outstanding Researcher Award; and Graduate Assistance Fellowship Scholarship Award, UMKC Women's Council.
