Dawn Weiss Smith, LCSW

I don’t do reviews but this has to be written. Dawn knows her stuff and creates the most empowering place to get back into life. I worked with her through a difficult divorce, death of my sister and my son’s gender transition and no one has the chops to help ease the pain and support like she did. I’m better than I’ve ever been thanks LARGELY to her! 

 This therapist is the best I have ever had. She knows how to read issues, she’s ridiculously effective at understanding my trauma, and she’s so smart and empathetic. I would always leave her office feeling better. I don’t think I have ever known anyone who has had a more profound impact on me than Dawn.

I took a long time to find the right therapist, and after meeting Dawn in just a few minutes, I knew I had hit the jackpot. She is levelheaded, insightful, full of strategies and ideas, and a very warm, nurturing space for me to completely unpack, some of the hardest trauma I’ve ever had experienced. I couldn’t recommend her more. 

I can’t say enough about what a blessing she’s been to our family. Our daughter would not talk to anyone who is experiencing severe depression, and Dawn was able to reach her almost immediately. Our daughter changed right before our eyes into a happier, healthier teenager. Dawn helped our family heal and we continue to use the tools she has taught us. I can’t recommend anyone more

She's warm,  smart and non-judgmental. She knew exactly what i needed to hear and we are so blessed to have found her! Everyone we have referred her to says she's incredible. What a wonderful therapist she is!
