I cannot tell you what a fantastic physician I have in Dr. Kim. He is highly knowledgeable and is helping me manage the one thing I have never been able to control in my life; my weight. I have lost 18 lbs in 2 months and I'm well on my way to loosing 35 more lbs He is extr cautious about not loosing body muscle and has started me on a light weight lifting routine. He is generous and kind but mostly very intelligent. He knows his medicine very well and you can tell that he really enjoys practicing. I feel blessed to have him on my medical health support team and I'm forever grateful to Cedar's for bringing on such a unique specialist.

Dr Kim didn't appear to consider my concerns or listen fully to what I was saying about what brought me into the office. He talked at me not to me and was generally dismissive of my words. While I can appreciate (and in most cases respect) that a doctor might have perspectives that differ from mine, it is not ok to adopt a condescending or patronizing tone when a patient brings questions and Ideas they want to discuss to a medical appointment. Even if a doctor has reasons to have a difference of opinion about treatment, the conversation should be one that leaves the patient feeling heard and rather than feeling negated.
