Eastern Dental scheduled me for an appointment on Thursday 5/16/2024. They called and cancelled my appointment for Tuesday 5/21/24. They took full scans of my mouth. The x-rays showed that I had an infection on the left upper side of my mouth and he refused to pull the tooth today, even though he saw that I had an infection. I also have a tooth with a cavity and an exposed root on the right upper side of my mouth. He indicated that, that tooth needed to be pulled as well. I begged him to pull at leaset one of the least one of teeth today, which he refused. I explained to him that I called and spoke with the office manager on Thrusday 5/16/24 to get an emergency appointment, and a doctors note for work. He refused to give me an excuse for work, and prescribed Augmentin  for the infection. He also prescribed Motrin for pain. I explained to he office manager that I could not take motrin related to kidney problems. She refused to ask the doctor to change the prescription to tylenol and proceeded to tell me that I missed numerous appointments, as if I was being punished for missed appointments. The Augementin should not have been ordered as well because it can cause renal toxicity. The staff at Eastern Dental are very unprofessional, uncaring and Aetna members should not be subjected to having to pick these dentists for treatment. I don't think that Eastern Dental should be paid for any of the scans that they completed today, Tuesday 5/21/24, as I am going to change dental providers and need to have these scans completed with my new dental provider. They should be reprimanded for their un-proffesionalism and unethical behavior.
