Cyd Lorry Dashkoff, PT

Cyd Dashkoff is a TERRIBLE pelvic floor physical therapist! 
She did not explain to me what was going to happen in pelvic floor PT, what I could expect, what she was going to do to me, or how different areas of my entire body (for example, my feet!) work with or against my pelvic floor. 
She did not give me the option of whether I wanted an internal exam. You should NOT be forced into an internal exam, especially if you have had ANY trauma around your pelvic dysfunction, even or especially by physicians or surgeons! 
Ms. Dashkoff  focused mainly on Kegel exercises and pronounced that there was little hope for me to strengthen my pelvic muscles. 
My sessions with her were a complete waste of my time and money, and put me in an emotional funk for a year. 
Now that I have been referred to a doctor of PT with a specialty in pelvic floor, I know how wrong Ms. Dashkoff was, and I am slowly regaining my strength and confidence.
Please, find a DOCTOR of physical therapy with a specialty in pelvic floor! There are a few excellent ones in the Portland area.
