I was seen the emergency room with acute vomiting and abdomen pain. CT scan showed bowel obstruction. Dr Kirkland recommended NG suction and overnight stay. I was reluctant but she gently encouraged me and informed me of what could happen. I’ve had this recurring problem which led to other ER visits. She was the first doctor that diagnosed why this was happening. I feel like she saved my life. If not treated my obstruction could’ve ruptured. I feel very relieved. I want to thank her for taking care of me in Venice Hospital.
