Chun Tseng, DMD

We continued with Dr. Tseng after the death of our previous dentist. Like one of the other reviewers noted, I'm not a friend of Dr. Tseng or any of the staff. If I'm not getting cavities and the resulting fillings or even worse, crowns or bridges, then I'm happy, both from the cost factor and especially from the pain & suffering side. I do take proper care of my teeth at home, which is important.
I had issues with the billing office.  Once, they required me to pay up front for services that were fully covered by our insurance policy. I argued with the clerk, but she didn't care. She was RIGHT. When I got home, I reviewed our policy. I was right. I immediately called our insurance provider and reported the practice. It has never happened again. I have to watch my husband because he's not as informed about our benefits as I am. I tell him not to pay and I'll sort it out after. It's sad that the patient has to watch their providers' billing so closely.

Dr. Tseng took over the practice of our former dentist years ago, and we continued with the practice. It's more out of a "force of habit" that we continue with the practice. One review said the "good reviews were written by Dr. Tseng's friends" I'm neither his friend nor his enemy. He is my dentist. His hygienist (Patti) does a good job cleaning and caring for my teeth. Dr. Tseng keeps up on the care of my teeth.  I've had very few issues with my teeth since he and Patti have been caring for them.  I have had billing issues with the office staff. You MUST watch your bills like a hawk. They don't follow insurance policies all the time and will make you pay for things you're not responsible for. Be Vigilant!
