I would not recommend this therapist. When I was in a crisis, I left a phone message asking for a call back. I had been told before that I could feel free to call anytime if I needed some support. I did this only a couple times; it wasn't something I abused. I waited three days, then sent a text saying ONLY that I was "disappointed that you didn't respond to my message this week". I was later told by Christy (via email - she didn't even bother to call me to talk it over as I would expect a professional to do) that "you sent me an inappropriate text. I will not respond or work with a client when they cross the boundaries." What the heck? If you can not tell your therapist that you are disappointed without them feeling it's inappropriate, I think they are in the wrong line of work. I put my trust in Christy and was left feeling worse than when I went in. Therefore, I do not recommend her.
