Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) treatment is a medical treatment for people with sleep apnea. Sleep apnea interrupts breathing during sleep, resulting in lapses of oxygen. Lapses of oxygen may in turn lead to severe headaches, heart problems, fatigue, and poor sleep quality.
