This doctor said I did not need surgery for my hyperparathyroidism and parathyroid disease. She prescribed heavy vitamin D, which I later learned was very dangerous for my condition. She also said most of my symptoms were not caused by my already diagnosed hyperparathyroidism. I went elsewhere for second opinion, actually out-of-state to Tampa to most definitely have parathyroidectomy...parathyroid adenoma surgery.
