I have been taking my two daughters to Dr. Higgs for three plus years now.  I've always been very happy with his beside manner and thoughtfulness when giving the girls their exams.  He takes the time to listen to your concerns and does not dismiss them as unimportant.  He is friendly with the little ones and provides an atmosphere of trust.  He will try things if he thinks it might work, but will not hesitate to send you to a specialist if need be.  This was the case with my daughter's dermatological issue.  He tried a medication; it did not clear up; he referred her.
