Dr. Claps is such a nice guy. He listened and made sure he answered all of our questions. When we left we were certain that we were making the best decision. The office is comfortable and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I have confidence in this office for my hip surgery and I'm very grateful that my sister-in-law recommended Dr. Claps.
My consultation appointment didn’t go as well as I’d heard from other patients. Interaction with the staff was 10 out 10. I feel my issues were “pass the ball” type of feeling. He gave his observation before even looking at my X-rays. I explained my previous treatments, surgeries etc. His response was go back to previous surgeon. “Unfortunately, I’m not going to be able to help you. I'm sorry I’m not going to be able to help” speechless.. (I’m never lost for words) in my mind What if the previous surgeon/practice was no longer in business, I wasn’t please with the work, they’re out of state or out of the country! I felt defeated before the conversation even began. All I could do was shake my head and the tears started. He passed me tissues said “I’m sorry” and nicely opened the door and walk out. Thanks but no thanks trust me I’ll never return.
I was really in pain and had never been to Dr Claps. He saw me that day, did xrays and treated my pain. Support staff was very attentive to my needs. I was back for follow up visits in Jan and another shot on March 25, 2019.
