Unfortunately, she was a dismissive provider who gatekept important referrals, provided little to no patient education beyond a dozen handouts, didn't take the time to get to know me, didn't stay current with my progress notes or lead my care team and delayed my recovery in the process. She definitely took advantage of the fact that I was half conscious at most of my appointments and the duration of my care with her.  If you get such a vibe from her, it's not about you and it's time for you to advocate for yourself and move on. There are plenty of providers out there worth their salt.
