We sought out cappi as a child therapist for my son who was having issues. She seemed to do ok with my son, she was genuinely concerned and seemed to legitimately want to help, but when we started getting into the family therapy there were a few red flags. She was not only my son's therapist, but also my ex wife's therapist by this time, and she also wanted to offer 1 on one to my current wife and myself, and also wanted to facilitate mediation between myself and my ex wife. It almost seems more efficient to have one therapist for all this, but I wasn't comfortable with some details of my ex wife's one on one therapy being told to me in my own one on one sessions, nor what I wasn't aware of being shared by her to anyone else during their own one on one sessions. We all also saw some biased during group or family sessions and in her mediation. I do think her heart was in the right place and she can be a competent therapist, but I don't think her handle of our situation was entirely appropriate nor turned out very helpful.
