My ex-partner and I had several sessions with this person, and I didn’t feel like she helped us navigate through our issues instead I felt our relationship got worser. Every session we had I felt that she never validated my emotions even though she was aware that I was going through some medical issues, severe depression and stress. I felt that she constantly made me feel like everything was my fault in the relationship, during the sessions I couldn’t even say much in front of my ex-partner, and she failed to see that I was in an abusive relationship. She failed to see that my ex-partner has a narcissistic personality. On top of all of these unperceived issues she disclosed my personal information WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE AND WITHOUT A RELEASE OF INFORMATION. I don’t believe Brenda is equipped to treat or help people that are in abusive relationships nor she is capable to understand or distinguish narcissistic behavior.
