In my experience, Addict II Athlete (AIIA) should be avoided, especially by LGBTQ+ folks. The hatred that Blu and Marissa Robinson (founders of AIIA) foster in the organization makes it untenable. I had a bad experience with this organization and filed a fair but unfavorable review with the Better Business Bureau and they retaliated to an extreme that surprised me, but only reinforced the hatred and poor leadership I experienced while involved in the organization. Their retaliation included Facebook posts with significant misinformation and calls to their participants to disassociate with me, false claims about threats and violence, and ultimately lies to the Better Business Bureau which are still being investigated. The simple fact is that they don’t know what they’re doing, and they don’t like being called out on their failings and lack of integrity.
