My wife and I were searching for a new primary care doctor after ours left the area. After researching numerous doctors and reading the reviews, we decided to try Dr. Pola’s office.  The office staff was very friendly and efficient when we did our initial check in.  I only waited about 10 minutes before a staff member took me in for my vitals and a review of my medical history.  After a through review, I was escorted to an exam room.  Dr Pola arrived in less than 10 minutes.  He reviewed with me my complete medical history and current medications. He took his time and answered all of my questions and concerns.  My wife and I were both extremely pleased with Dr. Pola and his staff!

My wife and I were looking for a primary care physician. We have been without one for 5 or 6 years, but started looking in earnest 6 or 7 months before the pandemic. Everyone we found on our list was not accepting new patients, except one. We would have to wait 5 months for an initial visit. We stopped looking until April of 2021. Our first try was with Health Texas and specifically Dr. Pola. My initial visit was very punctual and without any rush. I was ushered in 10 minutes prior to my appointment time to have BP, height and weight taken. I was then taken to the exam room. I only waited a few minutes before a student doctor came in to go over my history and items of discussion. After spending some time with her, she left and I waited about 10 minutes for Dr. Pola to come in. There was little rehashing and more clarification in our discussion. I never felt rushed and he spent ample time with me to cover the topics on my mind. We scheduled for blood work and follow up visit. I am a CPAP user and my machine is old. After discussing my settings and whether a new sleep study was necessary, he took the time to write me a prescription. It was a comfortable visit.
