I was an established patient and had to schedule an annual physical checkup in order to have my regular medicine prescribed. During that visit I was asked if I had any other complain so I mentioned a bothering in my ankle and we briefly discussed that. For my surprise (in the billing) I noticed that instead of charging me for an annual checkup, I was charged as a doctor visit due to an issue with my ankle so my insurance would not cover it 100% as it usually does for annual checkups. I am very disappointed and frustrated. There was no exam or further analysis of my ankle to be charged like that. It's really unacceptable and I am not getting any response back from the doctor/facility.

Although this doctor (Benjamin B. Schnurr)  is listed in the Aetna insurance company's in-network doctors list, the doctor's office does not accept certain Aetna medical insurance plan. The staff who answered my phone call would not tell me which Aetna medical insurance plan was accepted. Instead the staff asked me to contact the insurance company to find out if the doctor is available for my particular medical insurance plan. The service was completely unacceptable.
