This is our second time having to see Dr Jinadu. Neither have been a good experience. It took over an hour to be seen; he was rude and condescending. We were there because my toddler was sick. He treated it as a well visit, asking irrelevant questions and mentioning things that were NOT okay during the appointment. He asked questions multiple times several minutes apart, as if he wasn’t listening to my answers the first time he asked. We get ECI services for my kiddo and he asked how that was going. I said I didn’t know because they visit his daycare now and I was back at work. He said very rudely “well you could ask them how it is going and follow up”. I mean really? I’ve got enough on my plate than for him to make me feel crappy because I haven’t had the chance to follow up with his two ECI therapists. He examined my kid and ordered a COVID and Flu test which were negative. He never tried to look at my toddler’s throat. He said that my kid must be fighting something viral. Doc didn’t elaborate what that might be, what we could do for him, or how to treat his symptoms. He just stated that we need to take his temp every four hours, and if his fever continues then to come back. He didn’t say what temperature to go to the ER at or anything. No advice whatsoever. MY MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THIS DOCTOR IS THAT HE SAID DO NOT GIVE MY TODDLER TYLENOL OR MOTRIN UNLESS HIS FEVER IS OVER 104F DEGREES. Absolutely ridiculous instructions. Towards the end of the appointment, he said we need to keep going to ECI because my toddler “is clearly dealing with developmental issues.” Entirely uncalled for, rude, judgmental, and condescending. Do not go to this doctor. There are other doctors who have better bedside manners and actually remember pediatric medicine.
