Dr. Autumn M. Stowe-Quain, MD

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Stowe-Quain, I’m so happy I found her! She was so patient and kind and answered all of my questions. I’ve often felt rushed a doctors appointment before but Dr. Stowe-Quain took her time was very caring throughout. I will definitely be going back to her in the future. 

While Dr. Stowe-Quain is, no doubt, a competent and caring physician, the practice she works for allows her to take on too many patients. Inevitably, few appointments are actually handled by Dr. Stowe-Quain, and the other providers at the practice range from less-than-ideal to outright negligent. I had a number of complications I now know from requesting my medical records there were not being monitored by Dr. Stowe-Quain, but by another Dr. at the practice who had never had an appointment scheduled with me. This Dr. provides little to no explanation of care, and  did not pass on information to Dr. Stowe-Quain. Going to the UC Health Rangewood Clinic is one of the worst experiances of my life, from small things like having to reschedule testing and appointments multiple tiems due to support staff error right up until having my sanity questioned when I became aware of the extent of the errors being done and confronted one of the other doctors covering for Dr. Stowe-Quain, Dr. Baer. I had a seizure, an emergency c-section, a follow-up hospitalization, a month of prodromal labor, and an incision leaking pus over 3 months after the csection. I now know all of these complications could have been mitigated had my care actually been supervised in any meaningful sense by a doctor. The doctors at this office do not communicate with each other, take on too many patients, and rely incompetent fellow doctors to shore up the workload overflow. This is unacceptable. I would have been better off getting no prenatal care at all, which is functionally what I got thousands of dollars of medical bills later.
