This doctor was unable to remove a colon polyp and after 3 unsuccessful attempts referred me to have half of my colon removed. I waited two months for an office visit so I could ask for a referral to a medical center that could use a different procedure. He did give me a referral but stated that nothing could be done for it. After a successful endoscopic full thickness resection here I am to report that indeed as my research suggested there were other ways to handle it without losing half of my colon!
