Dr. Audra Y. Jones, DDS

My mother had an appointment on February 1, 2024, she was a new patient. Dr. Jones was in her insurance’s network, Aetna. After checking in at the front desk, the receptionist informed me that she called Aetna and was told that Aetna doesn’t cover elderly people and that she only had to pay 20% of the bill. I informed her that they were in the network, and I didn’t understand what was going on. I just talked to a representative from Aetna and the statement the receptionist gave me was false. According to Aetna, my mother had an X-ray in November from a previous dentist. I provided those X-rays and was told that they couldn’t see the X-rays that’s why they had to take another X-ray. I had to pay $69.00 that day. I just checked Aetna’s website and there is a charge from the office for $138.00. I am very disappointed with this practice. I had an appointment in May which I will cancel.
