I had an appointment for ultrasound and then to see Dr. Jones following. I was prompt for my ultrasound so as to be prompt to my appointment with Dr. Jones. My parents and daughter were with me to be a part of this pregnancy as well. We were brought back quickly for US, and brought back to the waiting room upon completion so as to get to our appointment with Dr. Jones on time. We were brought back about 15 minutes later, and the tech rushed me to put my stuff down, get on the scale and pee in a cup. I did so quickly to satiate her schedule. When I went into the restroom, my three year old was upset not realizing I'd be right back. As my parents tried to soothe her until my return, Dr. Jones ran into the room and yelled at her for crying in "his office" and proceeded to yell at my parents instructing them that this was no way to behave in a medical office and that all three of them must leave immediately. This all occurred before I was able to return from peeing in a cup (less than 2 minutes). Upon return, the room was empty except for the tech who asked a few questions, took my urine sample and told me to wait. I waited an hour and nobody checked in, and I still have no clue where my family was. Dr. Jones eventually meandered in with no apology for the wait, no mention of my family, and no interest in me. I tried to talk to him, and he had no interest in listening or answering questions. His attitude was that he was being put out to be in the room with me. He stared at his computer screen looking at the results for my US, listened to fetal heart tones and measured the fundus (again without any discussion or explanation of what was going on), and instructed me to return in four weeks. When I asked a question regarding another ultrasound (as I was told would be ordered by the provider I saw previously), he simply said "I am not going to do that" and walked out of the room. I have never had a physician make me feel so insignificant or treat my loved ones with such little dignity or respect. If I had seen the way he behaved towards my family I would have left immediately without being seen by him. I cannot express any more how much I recommend seeing ANYONE else within this practice other than this man. He is pure ego and spite.
