Dr. Anthony Robert Okamura, M.D.

My daughter was seen by doctor Okamura for arm pain, it turned out to be broken. He did not perform a proper chart review or background review, leading to misdiagnosis of root cause. Upon consulting another provider we had to take my daughter back in for further testing and imaging.

In addition, an improper splint (according to hospital policy) was applied to the arm to immobilize it, which in the following few days lead to excoriation to the upper arm and lack of circulation to her hand. We had to take her to the ER to have it removed and replaced with the proper type of splint (this time with pain management, the first time my daughter was given nothing).

Bedside manner is also lacking, Dr Okamura was distracted and cold the entire time.

Take your kids somewhere else.
