Last year, I went outside of the Swedish system to get my yearly OBGYN check up. It was a horrible experience - the receptionist treated me condescendingly, without provocation. I wanted to mention this to the provider once I saw her, but then I could tell this behavior came from her. I swore I would go back to Swedish the following year, 2023. And I'm so glad I did. On my visit, I accidentally went to the wrong check in counter and a receptionist checked me in anyways then kindly walked me over to the correct waiting room. The MA that performed my vitals was quick and personable. When Angie knocked on the door and introduced herself, she immediately made me feel at ease. She was pleasant and easy to talk to - and was NOT in a rush to leave. I asked her questions that were personally sensitive to me and she answered them with empathy and expertise. She just gave me an impression that she cared about her work and the patients she interacted with. I thanked her profusely at the end and she was probably confused as to why I seemed extra grateful. Thank you Swedish!

I love Angie!! She's amazing and made me feel safe and comfortable during an uncomfortable procedure! Definitely recommend her to as many of my girlfriends as possible!
