Dr. Andrea Elizabeth Jordan, DDS

This has been the worst experience of my life. I’m devastated. Dr. Andrea Jordan came highly recommended by my dentist office so I just went to her not reading any reviews; I regret that decision so much and feel like it was the biggest mistake I have ever made. I worked with Dr. Andrea Jordan and Patience O’Conner-Ball. I had two procedures. I had an implant crown re-done (new part and new crown) and I also had Veneers placed on my two front teeth. The implant part and crown took a year to complete (June of 2022 through June 2023). I had to live with a temporary tooth the whole time. The color didn’t even match my other teeth. In August I had my Veneers placed. Simultaneously they worked on both. Immediately after my Veneers were placed I knew something was wrong. They said there would be an adjustment period so I waited three agonizing weeks before sending them an email. I wrote that my teeth were moving a little bit, if I pressed on them gently with my index finger it made squishy sounds. I felt sensations when running my tongue behind my Veneers – that they felt like they were constricting, and that my bite was so off that I couldn’t chew my food properly without grinding my back teeth. After several months they were able to make enough adjustments that I was able to chew without grinding my back teeth almost 100% of the time, but my bite was still really off and they still would hit and my teeth didn’t fit together. They indicated that it was muscle memory and I should wait a month or more before coming back for additional adjustments to correct my bite. They also tried to explain away my other issues, which I knew were not true, but I held onto some hope that they could at least fix my bite and I would most likely have to live with the movement of my teeth and the sensations that I felt. They didn’t take responsibility for any of my issues. It was all placed upon me and I felt like they were just protecting themselves. I even had my fiancé come in with me for the last two visits so he could hear what they were saying because I was so stressed, had anxiety, and dreaded each visit. After they finished with my implant crown that would be my last visit. I emailed Patience the next day because I forgot to address some of the other issues in addition to another issue that came up and wanted to come in so that Dr. Jordan could look at it. Patience forwarded my email to Dr. Jordan stating “Um Yeah” and Dr. Jordan emailed me back not realizing that she forwarded Patience’s response. I was so taken aback. If my concern wasn’t tangible why would I have Dr. Jordan look at it? I was left feeling hurt and angry with their lack of empathy and professionalism. Dr. Jordan wrote back that “basically she checked my teeth and that if my Veneers became de-bonded to let her know.” I had to go to another specialist who gave me truthful feedback; the doctor indicated that it was not muscle memory and explained what he felt were the issues and mistakes. These two procedures cost me $8902 dollars, but more importantly, I have to live with my bite and all the other issues for the rest of my life. I want you to know that this twelve month ordeal embedded with suffering, could not be captured in this review. I hope this review will make you think about getting any complex procedures at Dr. Jordan’s office.
