I need to put a review somewhere about this woman because when calling CVS’s complaint “hotline” they were no help whatsoever and the girl i spoke to was giving me the wrong information! Wasnt until i asked for someone to speak with was I then given the correct info in reference to my complaint. I have ADHD and have struggled most of my life trying to get a hold of it until about 2 years ago i was prescribed adderal and everything started to change.. fast forward to now and the ongoing shortage, i absolutely feel for this pharmacists and techs, they are being bulldozed by patients every single day because of this shortage when in reality it is not at all their fault. My local pharmacy is 315 broad st in cumberland RI and they have always been a pleasure, I usually get helped by a woman name Heather who is by far one of the best! Lately tho, I have been dealing with “Amelia” mostly for whatever reason and her condescending attitude, being completely lied to, along with being talked to like I’m a drug addict asking her for a script of Herion is disgusting!! I have had quite a few calls with her where she has said to me “im not going to deal with all the drama” after asking if there were any other stores that had my prescription, as well as (per my doctor) asking if the prescription could be partially filled where she stated “We have absolutely none and I just got a memo that there will be none until April” and then she hung up on me!! I couldnt believe it!!! Funny thing was I had my doc office call and low and behold there was almost a full script available, and when the office called me back to let me know, I was told that she was even rude to them!!! I know quite a few people who also use this same pharmacy and have been told almost the exact same type of experience with this woman. Also being told if you call more then once a day (as all of us adderal patient continue to do every month to try to get even a potion of our meds) she will then tell you “she will not deal with you anymore” when simply asking if the medicine is available or not and then if you call back and get a tech they will tell you that yes they did receive more and this time or day is when it should be available. I feel totally uncomfortable even calling this place for my regular meds at this point. I had such anxiety calling once to see if I was able to fill my depression medication that when she was the one to pick up the phone I started balling my eyes out and hung up! She is a pitaful excuse for a pharmacist and if she can mot handle the heat that this shortage is causing then find a new profession because you are making us people who cant get this medicine for weeks at a time and are starting to feel the effects of a racing mind, poor performance in our daily lives, as well as withdrawal from these meds and some like me who are spending entire days calling all over the place and getting treated like we abusers all while trying to get whatever we can of this medication when its a struggle to even sit down and focus long enough to make the freaking phone calls. There is no empathy at all from this woman nor is there patiences or understanding that we are really all struggling through this! I have since start only calling that pharmacy if I ABSOLUTELY need to because pf the harsh treatment from this woman. Someone needs to have a lomg talk with her manner on how to do her job!!!!
