This dentist office is a fraud. The initial cleaning went fine, but we were told there were 5 cavities in my kids mouth. We set up an appointment to start the fillings and I was supposed to get an estimate well before the appointment, however it never came. Assuming everything would be billed correctly, I waiting until the appointment date and had them print the estimate before the appointment. During the appointment I went over the estimate and compared it against my policy but they were billing me at 55% my cost, instead of the 20% that should have been my responsibility. When the appointment was over and I went to ask them to properly adjust the bill to reflect my actual insurance rates, they told me they were unable to, that I would have to pay them that day before I could leave, and that I would then need to argue with the insurance company to get any reimbursements (even though I was not paying the insurance company, I was paying them directly). We cancelled all future appointments obviously. However, when we went to a new dentist, they did not find any additional cavities in her mouth, even though we only had 2 of the 5 filled at the previous dentist.  Our new dentist also stated, my child may not have had any cavities from the start and that we may have filled perfectly fine teeth.
