After being referred to her by my NP, who did not take my mental health situation seriously, Dr. Thomas not only listened to me about my anemia and getting to the root of the issue, but also was the only provider to take my mental health struggles seriously. She immediately prescribed me the medications I needed and helped me get in touch with the proper providers for help. She saved my life. I am so thankful for her listening to me and taking my concerns seriously. She has a wonderful bedside manner and makes me feel at ease, even when I was having painful procedures. I always feel like she is genuinely concerned about me as a person and willing to listen. The nurses are also very sweet and concerned. 100% recommendation!
I don't usually write reviews like this. But i was made to feel like what happened today at my appointment was my fault, and I just don't think it was right. I made an appointment to see this doctor and waited over 5 weeks for the new patient appointment. They called right after I booked it, said the doctor's schedule was wrong and they needed to reschedule me to the next day. I asked if it could be the same time, as I had to take off work and can rarely do morning appointments. I was told, yes and to arrive at 12:30. When I arrived for my appointment I was told I was a no-call no-show for a 9:00am appointment. An office worker told me they would waive the no-show fee (as a courtesy) and reschedule me. I would hope so, since I am sure I was told a different time for the appointment. They said they could reschedule me for 2 weeks from now, and after already waiting 5 weeks, I said no thanks. I just called another office and was given an appointment for tomorrow afternoon. I didn't actually get to meet the doctor, so I can't speak to her. But the office staff could give extra effort to make patients feel more welcomed and less of a burden, especially when it was an error on their part.
