Amanda Shelby was not polite at all during visit, abruptly told me I needed to go to Marlborough Middlesex walk in to get tested for RSV & blood clots b/c I had a high heart rate. Didn't take into consideration that a fever & dehydration could escalate a heart rate. I told her Middlesex in Marlborough does not have OB services, I am 6 mo. pregnant and she said it wasn't necessary. I told her if I needed to be transferred it would be to Middletown Hosp. where my drs. are not located. They are at Hartford and she strongly recommended I still go to Marlborough. I called my OB from the parking lot and they were appalled at the care I received. They called me in to Labor & Delivery at Hartford and treated me for fever & dehydration and my heart rate went back to normal. Glad I listened to my OB.
