Dr. Alexandra Jane Beachnau, FAAO, OD

Dr. Beachnau, is just getting started in this practice as her mentor has retired. She's been trying very hard to get my eyes back toNormal and following the steps that had been started. We're at a crossroads and I truly believe that her knowledge and experience will be all of the help I'll need to get back to normal. Because of other health issues that may be causing the problem, I've let my other providers know that she is in charge of my entire case at this point and if any changes are necessary, but are intrusive to her plan of care she has precedent. My eyes are more important at this time!She's got my full trust and support.

Everyone was outstanding! The tech/assistant who did the initial work with me was exceptionally professional, friendly and made me feel very comfortable. The doctor I saw was outstanding as well! Dr. Beachnau was very thorough, very professional, explained concepts in terms I could understand, made me feel heard and she genuinely cared! And the front desk staff was wonderful at check in and at check out. As well, as I was leaving the exam room, the other workers not involved in my care at all were very warm and friendly. What a great office! Thank you for the GREAT service!

I had to cancel my original appointment the day of the appointment because of a positive Covid test and sore throat. I worried about the late cancellation but there was no problem with that, and rescheduling a new appointment was easy. Everyone at Froedtert is always so friendly and accommodating. Thank you!

Dr. Beachnau was excellent. She called me to provide additional treatment information after the visit which she promised to do after checking with another physician at the Eye Institute. She is an excellent physician and I have recommended her to other family members.
