Dr. Aaron Thomas Liddell, MD, DMD, FACS

I scheduled this appointment 5 months in advance and requested to be on the waitlist if anything opened up. I was anticipating this appointment for a long time and looking forward to getting Dr. Liddell's insight into my TMJ/airway issues. Someone from the office called me the day of my appointment to ask who the referring provider was. They had 5 months to get this question answered! They also asked whether I had done any intake paperwork...again had 5 months to get this to me but never did. The appointment went ok but I  was disappointed to get a lecture on pain neuroscience and research efficacy more than having my specific issue addressed. They wrote a script for an MRI but when I sent it to my local hospital we realized that there was no ICD10 code. An easy enough fix, but the hospital and I have called and emailed the office multiple times with no response after 3 weeks. Also, when I was checking out, the lady asked if I wanted to pay. I had specifically verified that he was in network with my insurance and I've met my out of pocket this year, so I shouldn't have owed anything. I received a bill 3 days later for $640. I looked at my insurance website and no claim had been filed. I called Dr. Liddell's office and let them know and they said that they would file a claim with my insurance. Then, the claim was denied because a different tax ID number was used on the bill. I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with my insurance company to try to have the claim refiled with the proper TIN. I don't know yet how this will turn out but I will say that I hope to never have to interact with this office again.
