"If I listened to what this idiot told me, I would’ve been dead in a week. Second trip the ER in 3 days for extreme pain. Shawn was my doctor this time. I told him how bad the pain was, I told him there is something seriously wrong and I had a history of cancer. I begged him to just do blood work. He said I didn’t need it. I got the impression that he thought I was in there just to get pain meds. He sent me home. Two days later I went back, and got a different doctor. She did blood work, came in, and told me my leukemia was mostly likely back and they sent me in an ambulance to Froedtert. The oncologist there said I would’ve been dead in a week had I not come in This man should not be in practice. I’ve never hated someone so much. Dismissive, rude, condescending prick. Almost cost me my life."

"Judgmental, rude, uneducated on topics that he should be well-versed in, and unhelpful. I have been sober for almost a decade - he saw that I have addiction noted on my chart and immediately treated me as a second class patient. After reading the notes that he posted after my visit, my hunch was confirmed. He lied to me and told me that a medication that I have taken for the better part of a decade was a schedule 2 drug...It is not scheduled in any way and as soon as I asked/confronted him - he refused to answer me with anything other than "Yeah" in a patronizing manner. My father is an emergency room doctor, and after realizing that this doctor was not professional and had very poor bedside manner (to put it nicely) I got up and walked out and had my father continue my medications for another 2 weeks until I could see a doctor that was competent. On his notes that he posted after my visit, he attempted to make it look like I was seeking drugs (trying to refill my gabapentin and propranolol that I've taken for 7 years and my primary care doctor had recently left the practice). This man clearly needs to re-evaluate his bedside manner and I recommend staying away from him."
