"I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Burr. I came to him in November 2020 to discuss anti-depressants, and after going over my health history with him, he encouraged me to go see a neurologist to make sure everything checked out okay. Because I went to the neurologist on Dr. Burr's advice, I found out that I have tonic-clonic epilepsy. My neurologist initially put me on some very expensive meds for my epilepsy and when I told Dr. Burr, he did some research and found another version of the med that is much cheaper, saving me about $4000 a year. Since I am also on birth control, he also encouraged me to get an IUD because hormonal birth control pills can negatively interact with seizure medication (I would recommend an IUD to any woman with epilepsy who want to also be on birth control.) Dr. Burr has immensely improved my quality of life physically, financially, and mentally and I am forever grateful. And for anyone new to psychiatry, he takes the time to break down what the medicine does and how it interacts with your brain chemicals so you feel comfortable and informed going into it. He has years of experience and research under his belt and always interacts with his patients in a warm and cheerful manner. 12/10 recommend seeing Dr. Burr."
