"I have been a patient for nearly 10 years. I was in the hospital when Dr. Yager found a murmur no one had found in over 40 years of playing sports. I have followed up with him as needed and his bedside manner is kind and caring in both settings. He is thorough and makes sure you understand everything before he is done. So glad he is in my network still. His desk staff is a bit attitudinal, but the rest of the team is awesome!"

"Dr Atwater eliminated the atrial fibrillation I was having by performing a pulmonary vein ablation. During the pre- and post- surgery office visits he thoroughly explained the procedure and risks, as well as answered my questions. The office staff and nursing staff at Duke Cardiology of Raleigh are excellent. "

"My experience with her was so bad that I stopped treatment completely rather than continue going to her. She has absolutely NO bedside manner and actually woke me up while I was still groggy coming out of the anesthesia to give me bad news. She walked away as I was crying. At follow up appointment she barely gave me 15 min of time and seemed only interested in prescribing me expensive drugs rather than exploring other options or combinations of treatments. She did not seem to care or listen to me about how i was feeling. Seeing her completely turned me off of treatment. "

"I've been a patient for about 2 years and unfortunately, have not had a good experience. The office is short-staffed and the front desk staff are disorganized. Office hours are limited. I've called several times during regular office hours and still couldn't reach anyone. Left msgs. with answering service and calls were never returned. If you are lucky enough to get an appt. during the limited office hours, expect the doctor to run late from prior appts."

"I am unable to give feedback on Mr Korkowski as I have been unable to schedule an appointment with his office for chest pains. I think their office may have a disconnect with providing correct information for insurance providers. Aetna sent Korkowski's office a primary care provider (PCP) request and it was accepted (assumed by Korkowski), so he shows as my primary provider at Aetna. The site also indicates he is still accepting new patients but when contacted, they indicated they lost their staff and are no longer accepting patients. I only wish I had the opportunity to determine if he is a good doctor. I hope his practice can be merged with another provider so that they have adequate staff to support growth. I'm sure it's difficult to run a medical practice just like any other company, and I think if they care for their customers they will consider alternatives instead of doing it alone. For now I'll have to seek medical attention somewhere else. "
