Obstetricians and Gynecologists - Falls Church, VA

"We moved to VA late in my pregnancy so we didn't start meeting with Dr. Campbell until I was 30 weeks along. Despite this, she and her staff all knew both me and my husband by name by the third time we came in! (We even saw her at the grocery store once and she stopped US to say hello!) There were only a few appointments where I could tell Dr. Campbell was running behind and it took a bit longer to be seen, but what doctor doesn't ever have a busy day? When she WAS running late, she was still willing to take the time to answer all of the questions I had about our upcoming induction. She stayed with me to explain it all in detail once more even though she knew she was already behind schedule. To me, it's worth it to wait a bit knowing that she's not cutting someone's questions short! When she wasn't running behind, she always took the time to chit-chat with us and really get to know us as people! I personally liked that she wasn't in the room for most of our delivery. Just my husband and one nurse. She showed up on time to assist him through the birth canal and stitched me up so fast afterward! For our follow up, she was so sweet and made sure to offer me a private room to breastfeed my son IF I wanted it (she made it a point to let me know I could feed him wherever I wanted). I can't say she had the most *gentle touch* when doing examinations, but I also get really tense, so it's never been the most pleasant experience for me, regardless of the doctor. Overall, I really loved Dr. Campbell and will be going straight to this office when I get pregnant next."

"She rushed my FIRST OB appointment, didn't tell me anything concerning my health, my ultrasound, my whatever, none was important to this doctor. I was seen by her for less than 10 minutes because there were other customers waiting. Staff was nice though. "

"Dr. Shin is an expert in OB Gyn. He has helped me through three pregnancies and a pending fourth. He has good bedside manner and his staff is excellent. Highly recommend him to be your OB!"

"Prescribed me birth control where the #1 side is effect is something I already have and I’m being treated for. Gave me a dietitian contact because I “looked a little heavy” to him. His resident assistant was even worse and both of them did not care what I had to say. Doctor was also very questionable and asked me questions to agitate me."
