Midwife - Orem, UT

"Renee is INCREDIBLE. She started at the Orem Midwife Group in early 2018 and helped deliver my baby in March. I wanted a natural hospital birth, and got lucky enough to have Renee meet with me for my appointments and be at delivery. She has previous experience with at-home deliveries, so I knew that she was perfect for us. She was easy to talk to and supported me fully. When it finally came down to the birth we had some complications but she and the attending midwife Tina Nackos were able to help preserve some of my wishes while making sure the baby and I were safe. I would 100% recommend her and the Orem Midwife Group. I felt like angels were attending my birth! And, for the record, she has LONG fingers. Which makes for more comfortable cervical checks and membrane sweeps. "

"Tina Nackos and the other midwifes at Orem Midwife Group were exceptional in their care! I wanted a natural birth at the hospital and felt that all of my wishes were respected and followed as closely as they could be given our situations. In the end, we ended up having some interventions but Tina was careful to make sure I was informed about each and did her best to make sure that my baby was safe and wishes were respected. I felt surrounded by angels with this team and really enjoyed my time with them. Important things to note about the OMG: Check with the receptionist to see where each midwife delivers, then check with your insurance to see which hospital you can deliver at and plan your appointments with the midwives that deliver at your hospital. I met a couple of times with each midwife, but finally figured out who would actually be delivering. The office was small and I got to know all of the nurses and staff pretty well over my visits, unlike with the American Fork Midwife Group where there were sooo many nurses and midwives. I would 100% choose them again. "
