She is patient and kind with their care and listens to them about the things happening in their lives that affect their health. I can't imagine taking them to any other physician. She is outstanding."

"I have been seeing Dr “Raj” for over 20 years. I used to work with him at the hospital and have a multitude of stomach problems including: ulcers, reflux, swallowing problems, and diverticulosis. Most of my problems stem from ulcers and reflux. I love Dr Raj. He’s caring and listens, and I’m a chronic pain patient so I’m difficult to sedate. He always remembers me when I come in whether it’s been 5 years or 1. He takes the time to show you your test results and explain what that means to you. When my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer he pulled ma aside and showed me the scope he had done. He made a referral to a GI surgeon in the spot and we were seen within a few days. You may have to wait a little bit in his office but he listens to his patients and some people just take longer than the allotted 10 min. But he’s providing good care. If you’re more worried about time vs quality of care he may not be the guy for you. I’d rather wait and know I’m getting the best. "

"I was scheduled for a procedure next week. Unfortunately, the staff was unable to answer rudimentary questions (estimate of the total cost of the procedure) so I will be spending my money elsewhere. I have scheduled an appointment with a different provider and the staff is much friendlier and helpful. My regrets: 1) the co pay fee I paid for the first visit; and 2) not being able to see Doctor Shah - he was very nice and seemed like a great doctor. But, there are a lot of GREAT doctors so the attitude and overall helpfulness of the staff is CRITICAL. "

"I drive out of my way (31 miles) to see Dr. Daniel. He was the first of many endo's that took the time and effort to see me as the individual I was with unusual diabetes circumstances. He has worked scientifically minded to get to the best treatment for my conditions and we are so close to get my A1C's down in the 6's from the high 8+'s, and many different approaches by others just a few of years prior. I admire his tenacity in dealing with insurance companies and going to bat for his patients and his willingness to look at all the facts before proposing changes. His approach is careful methodical adjustments as indicated after a new treatment protocol is justified and put into effect. You also know he cares, it shows plainly, even when he is tough on you."

"I rarely write a one-star review on anyone or anything because I give the person or product maker ample opportunity to make a bad experience right. Bear with me and read this review all the way to get as full of a picture as I can give about how Dr. Charles Hebenstreit with Memorial Herrmann Hospital System, his staff and contract partners handcuffed my wrists to my ankles, taking hundreds of dollars of my money and gave me nothing in return. In February 2022, at the referral from my psychiatrist made an appointment with Dr. Hebenstreit to be evaluated for sleep apnea. Between my initial appointment, picking up equipment for home sleep study and follow-up for the sleep apnea diagnosis, I paid $325, through Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance. I saw the doctor for a combined 20 minutes, spending more time in the waiting room than in an exam room. I was told briefly and without explanation about the CPAP shortage and that I would be waiting 2-3 months for a machine. I was told the DME company, Arrow Care/Adapt Health would contact me within about a week to give me more details. To make a long story short, over the course of three months, I contacted the DME Co. roughly 12 times and Dr. Herbstreit’s office at least 6 times for answers on when I could expect a call back from my service rep and got no answer and no call back. Finally on May 10th, 2022, I was told by Arrow Care/Adapt Health they did not accept my insurance. Once again, no one at Dr. Charles Herbstreit’s office could tell me why he accepted my insurance but worked with only one DME that did not accept the same insurance. I am now starting the whole process over with another doctor but there’s a good chance I will have to wait another 2-3 months for a CPAP machine since I’ll be at the back of the line. My name is David Spires and I now know why Dr. Charles Hebenstreit wears a mask… So he’s harder to identify when he robs you of your time and money and gives you nothing in return. In my opinion, unscrupulous, only begins to describe Dr. Charles Hebenstreit with Memorial Herrmann Hospital System "

"I havcae been treated by Dr. Rajat Bhatt for over a year. I drive more than 30 miles to see him because he is such a caring and outstanding physician. It is extremely rare, these days, to find such a wonderfully caring doctor who takes the time to talk to his/her patients. I wish I could have him as my PCP, eye doctor and dentist as well. "
