"“Very” unfriendly, stern, and a “very cold” doctor who “never” smiles “plus”unfair billing (billed “over one year” for a bogas service). I called her office to inquire, her office male billing account representative said he will look into it. He called me back and said that because it (the so called procedure and billing) was over a year ago and because the billing was sent so late to me that he will zero it out and that i would not owe for that bill because of their extremely late billing. About 3 weeks later, I got a call from the medical group billing Dr Sasaki belongs to that was “not from her office” about paying the “the same” bogus bill that her office patient account representative said that he would zero out.???! One very positive note: Dr Sasaki was “excellent at explaining why I had to have a mastectomy” and the only office visit where I would actually give her a 5 star excellence. I can’t grade her on the actual surgery since I had my plastic surgeon who she recommended and who is actually an excellent plastic surgeon who partnered with Dr Sasaki during my mastectomy. So for the lymph nodes and the cancer excision I pray that Dr Sasaki got it all out. The wonderful plastic surgeon did everything else perfectly plus the plastic surgeon also did an excellent job in sedating me for the surgery while Dr Sasaki looked on. So initially, I was going to give Dr Sasaki a zero but that was not available. As I wrote my reason for the score to give her, I wanted to be fair and the reason why I upgraded from a zero. I hope this helps you to decide if you want this very unfriendly doctor who never smiles. I will change to another surgeon but for now it appears I will not be needing a surgeon service/ Dr Sasaki’s service anymore anyway. Thank you God. "

"Went in for a biopsy and was told it was just a consult. Spent over $100 for the doctor to come in for less than five minutes, touch my neck, and say I need a biopsy; something I already knew and was sent to this office by my GP for. They could not do the procedure because the did not have the equipment (an ultrasound machine) there. When asked about the reason why I paid the money for something that could have clearly been seen on the ultrasound test originally and which was already prescribe biopsy by my GP, she gave excuse about how it was a second opinion. Then the doctor left the room, I could hear her outside the door talking to the nurse. SHE HADN'T EVEN LOOKED AT MY PREVIOUS TEST RESULTS. When the nurse came back into the room, she informed me that I would have to go another facility for another consult and then and visit to finally do the simple procedure because they were not equipped to do the procedure. So the surgeon who I just paid for would not be the one to do the procedure I came to get from her. Once I got some more excuses from the nurse, my session was through and I left. I called my GP's office to ask why I was sent there and paid the amount of money I did for nothing to happen. The PA from my GP's office called and said that they said that they were going to do the procedure. (Not what I was told). They also said that I walked out of my appointment. (I was upset but I stayed through my entire appointment). So now I am out $100+, half a day of pay gone, and nowhere closer to my diagnosis. Disgruntled patient for sure. "

"I met Dr. Cuza a few years ago when I had torn some ligaments in my right ankle. After meeting with him several times and talking about my continual sprains and tears (at least 10 in the last 12 or so years), we decided that my ligaments needed repair. He did surgery in 2019 and my ankle is so much better. It feels completely different and is now stable. Unfortunately, I had a mishap and stepped on a very uneven surface and sprained it a few years later. I went back and he was awesome. We had a soft cast on it for several weeks and it healed beautifully. He is very personable and his staff is great. I highly recommend Dr. Cuza."
