"My experience with Dr. Sedlak was a classic example of why you should seek a second opinion. Dr. Sedlak said I have a tumor and to schedule a cystoscopy. I got a second opinion, also board certified. Looking solely at the same set of data and the same imaging the second opinion doctor said there is ''zero chance'' I have a tumor. "I was diagnosed with HER2 + breast cancer in Feb. 2023. Dr. Kaczynski removed my tumor on4/3/23. As a woman of color, I was worried I would have a scar or keloid. But Dr. K did such an amazing job that I can't even tell where she operated! She is truly skilled. She and her staff provided me with pre-surgery and post-op instructions that helped me heal in record time. I must admit, she does have long wait times (for office visits too). Even on the day of surgery, I waited two hours after my scheduled surgery time before she actually operated on me. But her team was knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. She was worth every minute of the wait. She also inserted my port when she removed my tumor. She explained everything in advance and set my expectations. There were no surprises. I highly recommend her. "

"I started going to Dr. James in August to get my left foot evaluated. I had extreme and extensive pain and some days I could not walk very well because of it. I had tingling in my foot, achyness like you would if you have the flu and your body is just feeling bleh and overall I had to deal with this pain daily. Some days I was fine, other days when the weather changed, I was unable to walk or barely able to walk. Dr. James took x-rays of my foot and also had me do an MRI to see the tissue better and what was wrong. He scheduled me for surgery and I had that surgery on 10/5/16. He made sure I knew what he was going to do to my foot and how many places he was going to cut to fix my problem. I had a torn ligament that he rebuilt, severe arthritis which he scraped out and he put sort of a fishing line in my foot so when the weather changed, this line would help with the pressure that I sometimes needed on my foot to make it feel better. (Like a tight sock) After the surgery, I went to see him a week later and he evaluated my foot to see how it was healing. I wore the boot constantly for 1 week right after surgery and he said on this appointment, I could go without the boot watching tv and sleeping. That was a relief! I kept moving my foot as much as I could to loosen the tightened muscles. The following week I went back to get my stiches out and today I feel like a brand new person with a new foot! I am so pleased that he was able to fix my issue and make me be able to live again without pain. I recommend him to anyone who is in dire need of pain relief. As he told me on the last appointment "You're left foot was really jacked up!" Today I am still healing, but grateful for his care and attention to my issue. I have seen other podiatrists and they usually think of you as just another foot and another problem to deal with. Dr. James is the opposite! He is a very caring and compassionate person who is really concerned and wanting to help people with their pain. I am so glad and happy today because of this man! THANK YOU SO MUCH!"
