"Book-smart, but doesn't know how to actively listen to a patient and involve the patient in care decisions. Regularly late for appointment times. Has an ego he hasn't earned than makes him defensive when challenges on his authority. Doogie Hauser without the bedside caring. Made bad care decisions."

"We just moved to New Braunfels from another part of the state. We wanted to establish a relationship with a nearby primary care physician. When I called, the receptionist offered an appointment 5 weeks in the future. I asked if I could get an appointment within the next 2-3 weeks because I needed to renew some high blood pressure medication. After the receptionist spoke with the doctor’s assistant, it was recommended that I go to the emergency room to get a prescription. Although he is supposedly taking new patients, it does seem like they were really interested n doing so. These glowing reviews from existing patients make speak well of the doctor. However, if you come to these reviews to find a new doctor (like I did), this is clearly a poor choice."
