"I recently made an appt at village medical on Park 10 for as a new patient for a physical and establish a GP, since I'm getting older and haven't ever had one always using the minute clinics and telehealth when getting sick. This practice came highly recommended by my parents and spouse, as all are established patients there. Based on my health plan through Aetna my annual is supposed to be free as well as the lab work. So I was shocked to get a bill for $90 for the visit and $130 for the lab work. I called Aetna and we made a 3- way call to the office and found that based on my answers to the questions that were asked during the establishment of a new patient doctor relationship I was billed accordingly, as a sick visit, thereforemy labs weren't covered. I'm being charged for an endocrinologist, which I didn't see. I didn't even see a Dr. rather only PA. I was also billed for saying I was fatigued and depressed, which I never said. Aetna and I spoke to a man in billing and he seemed insulted that we were questioning the billing practice and refused to look into it. I feel like this is a fraudulent business practice and refuse to pay for services that not only were never received, but even requested. They practice abuse of billing. "
