Family Medicine practitioners - Harker Heights, TX

"Do not go to this practice. Office staff is completely unprofessional and rude to new patients. I have been a nurse for nearly 10 years and have been in all types of different doctors offices. Not once have i had an experience even remotely close to this. Office staff was on personal cell phone when i walked in, angrily got off the phone and then told me that my appointment would have to be rescheduled because even though i was there on time (10 minutes early), new patients are required to arrive 30 minutes early to their appointment. When I told her no one had informed me of this, she completely ignored me and proceeded to try and reschedule me while I explained that I had taken off of work for this appointment and would be unable to do so again. She continued to ignore me and rescheduled the appointment for the middle of my work day. I immediately called got someone else in the office on the phone and canceled the appointment. If i could give this office 0 stars, I absolutely would. I have never once had an interaction so utterly unprofessional and rude. After talking to other patients of this office, this is apparently not an isolated incident as several people have had similar interactions with this same office staff member. Hopefully the doctor or someone in charge of that office will read this and do something about her because everyone i talked to ended up finding another provider due in no small part to the unprofessionalism and rudeness of this office staff. Do not go here. Choose a provider who cares enough about their patients to hire competent office staff that will treat their clients with dignity and respect. You deserve better than this office is capable of providing."
