"I have been a patient of Dr. Montiville's for more than 7 years now. She diagnosed my endometriosis on my first visit to her for my symptoms, only my second visit to her ever. When I went to her with my symptoms, she told me she thought it was endo and that all of the things we had already been doing to treat my pcos were the first steps we would take to treat suspected endo before performing surgery to confirm the diagnosis, and I was scheduled for surgery just 2 weeks later. When I have gone in for pain, she has pushed away from surgery... not refusing to do surgery, but rather giving a timeline for when to come back if the pain doesn't improve in order to discuss our next, more intensive steps. She is always very personable and give you the time you need, which is why I don't mind that she usually runs a bit behind. I just had my second surgery July 12, nearly 7 years after the first. The morning of my surgery, she came in to visit me beforehand, and she was telling me a couple stories about her daughter. And here is a good statistic to know: Most women take an average of 8-10 years to be diagnosed with endo... She diagnosed me with only ONE visit. It took her LESS THAN A MONTH to diagnose me from my visit for symptoms to surgery to confirm diagnosis."
