"Dr. Pugh-Westlyn is a brilliant Psychologist. Over my life I have been to many counselors and psychologists to get help with my anxiety, but I seemed to just get worse. A doctor in Austin referred me to her and said that she was really bright. Well, she is bright and very good at her job. After a short time I was doing much better. I have seen her for a few years now and I am doing the best I have ever done. I wish that I had known that if you are getting therapy and not getting better, find a new therapist. She is at the top of her field! "

"I saw Dr. Friedman years ago as I was going through a divorce. He's an wise older gentleman with an existential approach (what do things mean to you?). He's also from NYC and has a badass & straight shooting way about him that makes him a lot of fun. He's direct but soft in his delivery so you can get to the root of things much faster. Coincidentally, a friend has seen him too and shared the reverence I do for him. I highly recommend him. "

"She advertised that she treats PTSD but she does not provide effective therapy for this problem. She actually refused to get into the core issues I had or to answer questions about it. I had vetted her beforehand and specifically asked about it, but once I had appointments, she backed away from getting into PTSD every single time I brought it up. This experience actually proved to be a setback for me. The woman is nice, but does not seem suited to handle the issue for which I sought help. No issues with punctuality. No apparent staff. My review addresses her therapy skills in a specific area. "

"I requested an appointment via Dr. White's online submission two separate times and left a voice mail over the course of 2 weeks. I never received any type of response back from him or his staff. Apparently the roughly 5 minutes of his time it would have taken to call, email, or text me that he wouldn't see my teenage son was more important than the 2 weeks I wasted waiting for a response from him before I moved on to find another doctor. "

Her advice and guidance is not just from a text book or classroom unlike a lot of counselors and psychologists. She listens intently, is very pleasant, and is very organized. She doesn't judge or try to fit you into a box as a certain type of person. I've been very impressed with her ability to make recommendations as she has learned more about me. Her perceptions of my personality are spot on and I'm not an easy person to read."
