"I have been to a a couple different urologists for a persistent UTI. I sent Dr. Chuang the information from other doctors and told his office all I needed done was to have a cystoscopy. Over the phone, in a fit of mild irritation, I expressed to the nurse I would be "f***ing mad* if I have done everything I could do to give them the information and they still choose to waste my time, because my experience has been that urologists say one thing and do another. After I took off work, and got to the clinic, I was informed that my appointment had been cancelled. No one in his office notified me that they canceled my appointment. Afterward, an office manager explained that my bad language was the reason for the cancelation, and said I could see the doctor after I apologized. Then I had to wait over 3 hours to see the doctor, and he was callous, rude, and treated me like I was a nuisance in his day. I have never dealt with professionals who were as petty and puerile as this office. I would not have minded them canceling my appointment if they had told me they were doing it. If that wasn't enough, their billing office persisted in sending me a bill for $2,200, even after my insurance explained to me and to them that I was not required to pay it. I had to open a complaint with my insurance company because I was getting 2 letters a month sometimes telling me I had to pay for something that I clearly did not have to. His doctor's office taught me to inquire more about what kind of tests are being done and their potential costs, because I didn't know a urine test could run you that kind of amount. I am sure he is great for fertility reasons, and he probably helps loads of people have children, but I would never recommend this doctor to anyone after my experience."
