"Dr. Buchanan is the best! He knows his stuff, but what I most appreciate is that Dr. Buchanan truly cares about his patients. He is not concerned with number of patients seen per day, appointment length, or any of that; he will take as long as you need. Dr. Buchanan is proactive and always one step ahead, focusing on not only your present problems but also their likely sequelae. Referrals, such as to specialists or imaging, are seamless. Dr. Buchanan makes sure to address all ongoing issues at every visit. The staff is super friendly and accommodating; I arrived at a bloodwork appointment at 4:30pm on the wrong day, and they managed to fit me in! Speaking of bloodwork, it's convenient that the office has its own lab. I've seen Dr. Buchnan for issues from scoliosis to liver enzymes, and he's been top-notch for everything! Side note: Nurse practitioner Austin Billingsley is also great."

"Karen Joyce was my NP for many years(from 2007-2014) until an insurance change left me unable to go to her anymore. Karen was there for me and my family during some difficult health issues that required ongoing visits by myself and my family to her office. Her staff is as kind, hardworking, and caring as she is. I would recommend her to anyone I know and have. My friends and family all went to her for many years. You will not be disappointed with her as a NP. She treats everyone she sees with the same respect no matter what. Her office manager Kim, is always there for you as well to help with any issues with scheduling etc...Thank you Karen...Libby "

"First of all, he appears to have something of a chip on his shoulder. But I wouldn't give him a bad review for that. I'm giving him this review because, in my opinion, he is unsuited to practice medicine. First of all, it is a trifle jarring to be diagnosed with something that you know you don't have. He diagnosed me with carpal tunnel, but said that I had neoropathy in the ulnar nerve. A two-second internet search would have shown him that carpal tunnel is neuropathy to the median nerve. But that's not the biggest problem. I had several medical tests several weeks ago. The test results were put into my file, but he did not even look at them until I was in the office. I asked why I had not been given results, and he said it was just too much work for him to look at the results until the patient had an appointment. That attitude is going to get someone killed. Doctors MUST review labs as soon as they are avialable because labs can reveal time-senstive medical conditions. Sometimes a couple of weeks can be the difference between life or death. His attitude seems to be that providing quality healthcare to a patient in a timely manner is just too much of a hassle for him. As for the staff, they do not follow up. This is the second provider I saw in this practice. The first provider said I needed to schedule a followup appointment. I made several attempts to do so. Each time I was told that they would call me back. They never called. Now, they are supposed to be scheduling me an appointment to see a specialist. But I'm not holding my breath. This practice seems to be run for the convience of the people working there and not for the patients. If you want decent medical care, stay away from these people."
