"very bright and friendly. she has some good ideas. unfortunately she was not able to take my depression seriously or offer practical advice around functioning, despite my multiple requests. she became rude and defensive, and although i behaved less than congenially, i believe therapists should be able to take almost any feedback without becoming hostile, especially given that their clients are vulnerable and in distress. i asked for a bit sympathy and she replied, “do you want me to tell you you can just sit around all day and do nothing? no therapist will tell you that.” that was the final straw for me. she also takes zero notes, which is fine if you have an impeccable memory, but she had many dozen clients, and i often found myself having to reexplain things to her week to week. not bad, would not recommend. she also said, about local psychiatrist David Moore, “i hate that guy.” to be fair, he’s a pretty big a-hole hehe."
