I was not rushed like with other doctors, Dr Albrecht took her time in the exam room and explained my ailments and what she recommended. Never pushy at all, but caring and concerned . After surgery even my vision got better. My heavy lids did not bother me and I could see the light. I tell you go see her. You will not regret it!"

"My wife and I were taking a weekend trip to Polk County wine country when stomach pain hit. At the ER, I met Dr. Weircox who had just started 10 days as a visiting surgeon at the hospital. In the 6 days since, I have come to realize I was very blessed to have been under her care to fix a diverticulitis-induced intestinal penetration. Dr. Weircox is clearly a deeply experienced surgeon, extremely knowledgeable about the abdomen and thorough in her coverage of all solutions related to the problem I faced (things like diet and lifestyle issues). It’s a subjective statement, but I can truly say she clearly cares about the patient. She was thorough in her descriptions and answers while not rushing away to the next patient. Instead, she stayed and took the time to make sure our issues were addressed. She asked efficient and caring questions. She has a positive and humor-sensitive disposition. And, for the first time in my experience with doctors at large, actually shared her own life experiences related to our issues that came up. I see Dr. Weircox as a Godsend to address my unplanned, acute problem. My experience with her is at the top of any medical experience in my 65 years of life.
