Internists - Aiken, SC

"I am new to the area and was looking for a gastro doctor to assist with irritable bowel medication. When I called for an appointment, the phone staff was rude. Stating that the doctor was too busy to see me. More questions were asked and I let them know that I would be looking for hernia surgery. All of a sudden they were too happy to give me an appointment with the Physician Assistant. The day of my appointment, I was called to come in as early as I could get there. The Physician's Assistant was very rude. Not only did she refuse to renew my medication, but refused to give me an alternative. She told me that she could give me a referral to a surgeon for my hernia because they did not do that type of surgery at all. But not to expect a call from that office they would refer me to for at least two months because they were very busy. But, during the same visit, she told me that my hernia is "very large and needs to be taken care of quickly". Then when she left the room, she said that she would see me in a month. Very confused!!!! What would I see her for! She did nothing for me the first appointment! "
